Jennifer is a Registered Social Worker with over 30 years of experience supporting adults and couples in Kelowna and the surrounding area. She offers a calm, compassionate space for those navigating grief, relationship strain, workplace stress, or meaningful life transitions.
Many clients seek Jennifer’s support when perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxiety, self-criticism, or the pressure to hold everything together begins to feel overwhelming.
Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centred, and strengths-based. She draws from Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Family Systems perspectives, shaping each session around what feels most supportive and relevant to you.
Jennifer believes deeply in each person’s capacity to heal and adapt, and aims to create a space where you feel understood, cared for, and encouraged as you move toward the life and relationships you want.
I support adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-doubt, burnout, and relationship challenges who are looking for a thoughtful, collaborative space to better understand themselves and move forward with clarity.
I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to explore their inner world without judgment. My role is to offer that steady, compassionate presence while helping you build insight, practical tools, and greater confidence in your ability to navigate life’s ups and downs.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and incorporate elements of DBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we’ll find an approach that feels supportive and aligned with your goals.
I have a particular interest in anxiety, emotion regulation, boundaries, self-esteem, workplace stress, and communication patterns, as well as trauma-related concerns including PTSD.
Outside the office, you’ll often find me exploring Okanagan trails with my wife and our Australian Shepherd, Benji, or enjoying a quiet evening with a good book.
I look forward to connecting when the time feels right.
